These Terms & Conditions outline how Journey By Faith Travel (“JBF Travel,” “we,” “us,” “our”) provides travel planning and concierge services. By submitting your travel questionnaire, paying your planning fee, or signing your Travel Agreement, you (“client,” “traveler,” “you”) agree to the following terms.
1. Scope of Services
JBF Travel provides custom travel planning and concierge services, including:
- Researching destinations, lodging, activities, and transportation
- Building custom itineraries
- Coordinating with suppliers on your behalf
- Monitoring your trip behind the scenes
- Creating traveler and vendor group chats for smooth communication
We do not operate as a supplier, airline, hotel, tour operator, or insurance provider. We design the trip; the suppliers fulfill the services.
2. Planning Fee
A nonrefundable Planning Fee is required to begin work on your itinerary.
The Planning Fee covers:
- Research & destination curation
- Personalized itinerary draft
- Revisions within the included limit
- Final itinerary preparation
The Planning Fee is for time and expertise and is not applied to the cost of your trip.
3. Concierge Fee (18%)
A 18% Concierge Fee is applied to the total cost of your confirmed travel package.
This fee covers:
- Supplier coordination
- Ongoing communication
- Behind-the-scenes monitoring
- Adjustments to schedule, transfers, or logistics
- Emergency trip support
The Concierge Fee must be paid before final confirmations are released.
4. Supplier Payments
For transparency and protection:
- All payments to airlines, hotels, tours, and suppliers are made directly by you using your own credit card.
- JBF Travel never holds, collects, or processes client travel funds.
- Supplier terms, refund policies, and cancellation rules apply to your booking(s).
JBF Travel is not responsible for supplier changes, delays, closures, or cancellations.
5. Travel Agreement
Before itinerary development begins, you will receive a Travel Agreement outlining:
- Services provided
- Fees
- Deliverables
- Collab expectations
- Deadlines
- Liability protections
Work begins once the Planning Fee is paid and the Travel Agreement is signed.
6. Revisions & Changes
Your itinerary includes a set number of revisions as outlined in your Travel Agreement.
Changes requested after approval may require additional time or fees.
Supplier-controlled changes (weather, delays, closures, etc.) are outside of our control. JBF Travel will assist with adjustments, but any new costs (fare differences, new bookings, etc.) are the client’s responsibility.
7. Client Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide accurate traveler information
- Review all documents for accuracy
- Keep your passport valid for at least six months beyond travel dates
- Secure any required visas
- Comply with local laws, customs, and travel regulations
- Purchase travel insurance (recommended)
Failure to provide correct information may result in delays or denied boarding. JBF Travel is not responsible for costs resulting from incorrect or missing traveler information.
8. Travel Documents
It is your responsibility to:
- Hold a valid passport
- Confirm visa requirements
- Ensure compliance with entry/exit regulations
- Provide accurate names as they appear on passports
Fees caused by name errors or document issues are the client’s responsibility.
9. Travel Insurance
Travel insurance is strongly recommended to protect against:
- Trip cancellations
- Medical emergencies
- Lost baggage
- Supplier failures
- Delays and interruptions
JBF Travel may suggest insurance providers but does not sell insurance.
10. Communication During Travel
JBF Travel provides enhanced concierge service including:
- Client group chat for trip communication
- Separate vendor communication channels
- Proactive monitoring of travel flow
However, JBF Travel cannot guarantee supplier response times or outcomes.
11. Liability Disclaimer
Journey By Faith Travel, operating under First Things First Solutions, LLC, is not liable for:
- Acts or omissions of airlines, hotels, tour operators, transportation companies, or any third-party suppliers
- Delays, cancellations, overbookings, or schedule changes
- Weather conditions or natural events
- Lost, stolen, or damaged belongings
- Injuries, illnesses, accidents, or unforeseen circumstances during travel
Your contract for services is between you and the supplier, not JBF Travel.
12. Cancellations & Refunds
- Planning Fees and Concierge Fees are nonrefundable.
- Supplier refunds or credits depend on their policies, not ours.
- JBF Travel does not guarantee supplier refunds.
- All airline and hotel cancellation policies apply as stated by the supplier.
13. Privacy & Data Protection
Personal information you provide (passport details, traveler information, etc.) is used solely to secure travel arrangements. JBF Travel does not sell or share client information.
Uploaded passport images are used only for booking accuracy and can be deleted upon request.
14. Acceptance of Terms
By submitting your travel questionnaire, paying your Planning Fee, or signing your Travel Agreement, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions
